The footwear offered by the Hackesche Höfe hardly encourages indulgence, stretching as it does from fake Italian models in sardine skin to tiresome ugly sneakers. However, it's in this very area that Claudia Boehringer and Kai generlich have been studying the critical question of the stiletto since 2009. In a city where the severity of winter leads some to appalling behavior, such as pulling thick socks over their boots to avoid slipping on the icy sidewalks, even if it looks like a yeti, it is a far-reaching cause. A genuine stiletto sanctuary, their vanilla yellow leather lounge recalls the inside of a Monegasque yacht cabin or a private jet. Made by Marc Dahmen, the heels are the regulatory 12 cm for the most fantastic models from collections by Michael Kors, John Galliano, Nicole Brundage, Viktor&Rolf, and Nina Ricci. Essential if you are to step out onto the red carpet or into the Grill royal in unrestrained glamour.

SANCTUM ist eine echte Größe unter den Schuhläden. Hier fangen die Absatzhöhen der High Heels und Stiefel bei zehn Zentimetern an. Die verspielten Entwürfe von Victor & Rolf und damenhafte Pumps von Michael Kors gelten als Einsteigermodelle, Profis versuchen sich gleich an den schwindelerregenden Konstruktionen von John Galliano und Nina Ricci.
